The name Tymüsz was conceived by a guy I knew at school. He himself was called Masusz. Tymüsz is derived from my real name. At one point, Stonie said to me that this name must be a unique nick (in contrast to his), and that I should keep on using it. With all computer-trouble around the ü, I changed this into a regular u.

I found the name Tymusz on only two other locations: As a painter, and as the name of a volleyball referee. Both are Polish.

Tymusz is pronounced 'tai-mus', and has nothing to do with the thymus (a part of a cows brain, considered a delicatesse.) I have no clue how it sounds in Polish..

Born the early 70's, I grew up with the first personal computers around me. ITT2020 was the very first of the computers around. It was a computer designed by Apple (Steve Wozniac) and build by ITT, since Apple had no factories. After the Apple ][, ][+, ][euro+, and //e, I got a Laser XT. Some parts of the Laser are still in my computer (that is: the diskdrive is..).

I used to ski a lot, but I haven't seen too much snow lately.

Using a JV-1000 I make music, which I just keep to myself and a few close friends. However, if you can find my FTP, you may download one or two songs.

After 10 of my friends also bought a 3com PalmPilot, I decided to get me a new one. I use it to complement my internal brain, (two megs certainly seems like a lot compared to what I can remember :^), and to program telephone-systems, thermostats, my alarm-system, the meteorological station, just about anything that has a serial output.

Here's my girlfriend, in the house we live.
